You will never be able to ‘simulate’ your wedding reception before the day, but you could do the next best thing:

  • Walk through our gardens and imagine what it would be like on your special day
  • Stand in our beautiful marquee, close your eyes and sense the excitement of being surrounded by the most special people in your world
  • Sample a canape (CDC Weddings) and a delicious ice cream (the Ice Cream Cab Co) and imagine the pleasure your guests will enjoy as your carefully chosen menu is eaten!
  • Stand on the hill outside the marquee, gaze across some of the most stunning countryside in the land and just inhale the beauty of this peerless backdrop to your plans

No website, no conversations, no pictures on social media can ever do justice to ‘the Burloes Wedding experience’. You just have to walk across our white bridge and lose yourself in our beautiful Edwardian gardens rich with flower beds or our Italian gardens with the heavenly smell of lavender and where lots of our couples have their Blessings or even just wander round the roses beds on the terrace. Then come back and chat all things flowers with Sophie (Sophie May Floral).

You have to dream, but you also have to plan probably one of the greatest days in your life and if you need any ideas or counsel you can talk to some of our most trusted suppliers who will be on hand at our Open Day.

Whether you are looking for help running your bar (Andy, Banquet Inn Bar), your perfect dress (Burr Bridal) ideas for music (Sam Lewis and Two Hearts Music), coaching for a first dance (Dance Matters), wedding photographers (Gareth Jones, Liz Greenhalgh, Creative Spark Films) or that special wedding cake (Kelly’s Kitchen, Meadow Sweet Cakes) they will all be at our Open Day!

If it’s the planning side of your day you need more help with then we have it covered too with wedding planner (Beth Carlisle), toastmaster (Richard Mitchell), bespoke wedding stationery (Clare Gray Design) wedding styling (Scrumdiddlyyumptious) (Stardust Events), (Bunting 2 Hire) and not forgetting the essential photo booth (the Snap Booth).

We have even persuaded Cambridge Wedding Cars to bring some fabulous wedding cars which will be parked outside the marque.

Make sure there is nothing else in your diary:

  • On 29th March 2020
  • From 11am to 4 pm
  • Free entry

And if none of the above is compelling enough on its own, perhaps the thought of a chilled glass of bubbly might do the trick!

We would love to see you!

Thank you for reading our blog!
