Your Wedding FAQs

Can we get married on site? 

Currently you cannot get married on site. Many of our couples choose to have a religious ceremony, a Blessing in the gardens or use the Barley Town House which is licensed for civil ceremonies.


Can we look around?

Yes of course. You can contact us on 07792 910 971 to book an appointment or come to one of our Open Days.


How much does it cost?

It costs £6,500 to hire our venue. Extra items are available on request, such as hire of scaffolding, an extra day for set up or use of our lawn for a Blessing.


How many people do you cater for?

We can cater for 250 seated.


How much does it cost per head?

Costs start from approximately £45.00 per head for a three course meal, or less if you choose a buffet or a BBQ.


Can we bring our own caterers in?

No, you have to use one of our recommended caterers:

However if you have religious restrictions, please get in touch and we can discuss your options.


Can we leave our cars on site?

Yes, as Burloes Hall is a private estate you can leave your cars in the car park overnight and collect them by midday the next day.


What happens if it rains?

Don’t panic. Our beautiful pole marquee has plenty of space so you can hold your Blessing inside the marquee followed by your reception. One side of the marquee has rectangular windows so you can still see the stunning views!


Can we bring our own alcohol?

Yes you can. For a fee of £200, you can provide your own reception drinks and wine for the wedding breakfast and then have a cash or complimentary bar in the evening.


Can we use the house?

No, you cannot use the inside of the house but of course you can have your photographs outside it!


Can you recommend local suppliers?

We can provide you with a recommended suppliers list including bands, DJ’s, florists, etc.


Is there accommodation on site?

No, but there are plenty of hotels, Airbnb’s and bed and breakfasts in the area.


What time do do we have to leave?

You and your guests will need to leave by midnight.
